Jon-Paul Sabbah
Jon-Paul was born and raised in Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan where he obtained a degree in English, and then went on to study at Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctorate. He relocated to Jacksonville, North Carolina, and has found his home here.
Jon-Paul has represented clients for over fifteen years in a variety of fields, including custody, divorce, personal injury, general civil matters, criminal matters, and social services' matters. He is committed to providing strong and unwavering representation to combat the uncertainty that accompanies Court involvement. After moving to North Carolina, Jon-Paul practiced law at Lanier, Fountain, Ceruzzi & Sabbah for more than a decade before representing Onslow County as a child welfare attorney.
Jon-Paul found that he enjoyed the kindness of the people of Onslow County, the small, but not too small city of Jacksonville, and the wonderful weather so much that he made this area his home. Jon-Paul spends his free time with his two beautiful daughters and experimenting as a chef with a variety of cuisines from different Countries.

Karianne Carter
Karianne was born and raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a degree in Psychology, and later received her Juris Doctorate from Campbell University.
Guided by a strong sense of justice, Karianne has spent more than fifteen years advocating for clients in criminal, domestic, and social services matters. Since beginning her practice in 2008, she has remained dedicated to serving and improving the lives of families throughout Onslow County. She previously owned and operated her own firm before becoming a child welfare attorney for the county.
Law runs deep in her family; her father practiced for over forty years, including as the full-time attorney for the City of Jacksonville, and her brother is also an attorney.
A lifelong Jacksonville resident, Karianne cares deeply about her community. She enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd, Duke, and has a soft spot for all dogs.
